Membership

Church membership is the formalizing of a person's connection with and commitment to a community of Christ-followers. At The River, membership provides an opportunity for people to declare publicly that they have decided to follow Christ, are committed to growing and maturing in the faith, and that they will support the ministry and vision of The River with their time, talents, and treasure.

Membership Process

Step One :: Attend Membership Seminar. This three-hour seminar is offered at various times throughout the year and is designed to help people become familiar with the beliefs, mission, and ministry of The River. The next membership seminar is TBD.

Step Two :: Submit Membership Application. Click here for the membership application.  Applications may be submitted by mail or in person at the church office during regular office hours.

Step Three :: Become a Member. Membership is formalized with a membership reception ceremony held during a weekend worship service on one of three Membership Sundays in the course of the year. Membership Sundays for 2010 are still to be determined.
